A few years back, green blogging giant Inhabitat.com asked Major Robot to add a few features to their site. What resulted was a long, fruitful relationship with Major Robot maintaining and developing the blog's codebase — as well as that of her sister sites' — Inhabitots, a green parenting blog, and Ecouterre, a blog that focuses on environmentally-friendly couture.

Working on a site that sees over a million views a month took cleverness as well as caution, so we created a workflow used by the site's different development teams, enabling us to develop custom plugins, implement a new theme, and sail through two major Wordpress upgrades and onto a stable, multi-site platform.
